Historic Zoom: Pillars 2011
Historic Zoom: Museum 2011- With this image I wanted to get the whole building center in the middle kind of framed in by the surroundings to give it an old feel that its a lost historic site and the cloudy sky really helped with the feel of the image.
- My idea was to find old fashioned places around campus I basically froze my butt off walking around campus taking 12 or so shot of old looking buildings and places.
- The goal here was to capture what isn't seen but is seen on a daily base on campus what I mean is take photos of places that wouldn't be seen by students even though they pass right by them.
- I think the context behind my image is historic and matches the idea of other photographers in that we want to capture what people wouldn't normally see.
Midday Light: Construction- With this image I wanted to capture as much of the construction site as I could but be zoomed in, seeing workers and the intricacies of the build, with all the different angles and lines. The different shades also help in the composition.
- Again I didn't plan this I just went to two of the 4 major construction sites and took pics responing to the prompt construction.
- I basically thought with this image the idea of the progress and the steps to construct a building would be best.
- Context wise I was thinking about progress of the school.
Slow Shutter Speed: Hero/Doppelganger
- Here was one of my first times really getting into Photograph learning how the camera works in all, at the time I didn't have a Tripod so the image isn't centered cuz I can't holding centered.
- My Idea was to capture my roommates going crazy, constantly moving around not sitting still just plan goofing off, and have them be out of focus as well with the background mostly focused.
- I kind of thought this one out a little but I had the Girls pick where they wanted to perform and what they wanted to do, I didn't really try to center things but the shots worked non-the-least
- My Goal here was to capture fun time and the actions that people make and do.
